Photo Los Angeles - An Alternative Photography Show

Opening Reception: Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM 10:00 PM at The Los Angeles Makery

The organic nature of the Alternative Photography processes lend themselves to limitless creativity, presentation options, as well as artistic commentary - we are exhibiting the recent creations of this group of artists, promoting awareness of the ancient methods of alternative photography, as well as how far the boundaries can be pushed with a variety of photographic materials.

The type of art work included, but not limited, to cyanotype, lumen, cyanolumen, laser type, van dyke, photogravure, tintype, wet plate collodion, chemigram, transfers and lifts, fuse graph, silver gelatin, mixed media, assemblage, encaustic, chlorophyll print, pinhole, sabatier, photo-polymer, hand-painted, and any combination of alternative process photography.
