Call for Art:
“Confluence” Open Media Exhibition Summer 2024

We are thrilled to announce an open call for submissions for the 2024 Open Media Exhibition. This is an exciting opportunity for artists across all media to showcase their work in a diverse and dynamic exhibition. We welcome submissions from both emerging and established artists working in any medium, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, mixed media, video, and installation art.
Theme: "Confluence" The theme for this year's exhibition is "Confluence." We are looking for works that explore the intersection of different ideas, cultures, and artistic practices. How do different streams of thought and creativity come together in your work? We encourage innovative and thought-provoking pieces that engage with the theme in unique ways.
Submission Guidelines:
1 Eligibility:
◦ Open to all artists worldwide, aged 18 and older.
◦ All forms of media are accepted.
2 Submission Requirements:
◦ Up to three works per artist.
▪ Images (1000px smallest dimension & 72-dpi JPEG) or video files (MP4).
3 How to Submit:
◦ Submit all materials via our online submission form below..
◦ There is a non-refundable submission fee of $25 per artist.
4 Selection Process:
◦ A panel of esteemed curators and art professionals will review all submissions.
◦ Selected artists will be notified by June 1, 2024.
◦ All selected works must be ready for installation by June 3-4, 2024.
5 Exhibition Details:
◦ The exhibition will be held at The Los Angeles Makery, 260 S. Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 in SubTerra.
◦ Opening Reception: June 6, 2024.
◦ Exhibition Dates: June 6 – July 6, 2024.
◦ All selected works will also be featured in an online gallery.
