Meaning of work: to convey fun and whimsy in a useful wardrobe item.
Statement: I am a former graphic designer who started needle felting over 10 years ago. All of my creations are handmade by me with an attention to detail. I make wool brooches, keychain and zipper charms, felt bracelets, dolls and miniature felt sculptures. You can find my pieces at craft fairs and local shops. I enjoy creating anything from frogs in polka dot sweaters to embroidered mountainous landscapes. I lean towards creating pieces that are whimsical and fun. What keeps needle felting challenging and exciting for me, is continually experimenting with new designs. The quirkier the better!
