About the artist: My artwork for over 20 years has been focused on painting, print making, mixed media, altars, masks and textiles. Mythology, mysticism and history coupled with humor and color have been my reoccurring influences and themes. Studying Commedia Dell’Arte mask making in Italy as well as Italian mosaics have provided images and techniques that I continue to work with. Not to be forgotten is the influence of Dia de Los Muertos on my costumes, masks, prints, paintings and textiles.
