"Metalurgy, 2024" by Kacy Treadway

$600.00

Metalurgy, 2024. Mixed media: fabric, metal, and plastic. 30” x 40" x 12”. $600

Bio: My day job has been making specialty costumes for film and television, like The Grinch, and Raising Hope. My life job is making things in a variety of media and trying to repurpose what I can in a discard/discordant world. I’ve been part of the Arroyo Arts Collective Discovery Tour for several years, showing my costumes and ceramic work in my home/studio. I’ve also exhibited in local NorthEast Los Angeles Galleries - Avenue 50 Studio and Future Studio with my Fruit Tarts ceramic pie and a Bernie Sanders portrait for the ArtBern 2 show. I try to buffer seriousness with humor where possible and make the best use of my creative energy cycles between the inertia attacks.
